Dr. Slyythis (pronounced Sligh-this) was born on the Gorn home world of Gornar. He quickly joined the Gorn Alliance ranks for space travel at age 19. Serving abord the Euromastyx-class Gorn ship Diplo he served as an assistant to Dr. Broox. The Diplo en-route to the Federation Neutral zone on a mission of medical releif came under attack by a Romulan War Bird on Star Date 65139. The Diplo was heavily damaged and a Romulan party beamed aboard. The Diplo did how ever manage to cripple the War Bird and the boarding party repelled. Dr. Broox insisted that medical attention be given to the Romulans. Due to the hatred most Gorn hold to Romulans, the captain declined but this did not stop Dr. Broox and Slyythis from taking a shuttle to show mercy to the wounded Romulins. On Star Date 65142 both Broox and Slyythis were court martialed for dis-obeying direct orders. Dr. Bronx seeing Slyythis still had potential recommended Slyythis go to Star Fleet Academy. There Slyythis got high marks and graduated with honors, to the dismay of some of his Xenophobic classmates. Dr. Slyythis served as an assistant Physician doing his internship with Starfleet medical on board the U.S.S Lothlorian on Star Date 65182. After 4 Years of Internship Slyythis was given the title of Dr. with all the rights and privileges there of with the rank of Ensign. Syythis returned to Star Fleet Command and served on Jupiter Station until a position on a ship requiring a full Physician became open.

Likes and Hobbies: Dr. Slyythis enjoys the out doors and exercise. Often Holodeck use will prove to simulate multiple climate types especially with high temperatures. Slyythis especially enjoys the many sunny shores found on Earth. As a Gorn he enjoys laying in the sand and soaking up plenty of vitamin D. while on Jupiter Station Dr. Slyythis asked if a section of his quarters could be converted simulate these conditions but the Space Station director said that the holo-deck will have to suffice. Dr. Slyythis also enjoys crafting models of various famous ships and displaying them in his quarters. Slyythis will spend much off his spare time re-creating the intricate details of many vessels. the Dr. even wires in a lighting system so that his models illuminate.

Dislikes: Dr. Slyythis is a very open minded individual so rarely dislikes anything. Being a Gorn the Doctor has faced much Xenophobia but he does not let that stop him when there is some one needing medical attention. Dr. Slyythis is sometimes embarrassed about his appearance when treating patients and wears leather gloves over his hands to conceal his Gorn Claws.
