System just inside of Romulan space. It had a large asteroid belt orbiting around its sun that was chalk full of a variety of ores that would confuse ship sensors. Within this asteroid belt was a small M-Class planet that was frigid and bare. It was these exact conditions that made the Freya System a perfect choice for the Romulans to set up a prisoner of war camp. The Potemkin found and rescued the crew of the destroyed USS Atreides in the Freya system.
