The Potemkin encountered the Minerva outside Galordan Core when it dropped out of warp with it's shields and weapons raised. It's Captain, Deeth, stated that it was hunting a renegade ship, but this turned out to be a ruse.

In the battle that followed, the Minerva was able to out maneuver and out gun the 'Tem at every instance. It eventually disabled the 'Tem with a few choice blows to the engines. Warp had the ship followed, but it was destroyed in warp core breech that Section 31 had set up.
