Thoroughly populated planet orbiting two blue stars. The whole planet was one massive city with many platforms or layers extending from the crust several hundred meters. The planet/city had a population of 120 billion. In the center of the city was the Spire, which housed the Stellar Engine - the energy center of the entire planet. The Stellar Engine was a smaller version of the galactic barrier; it released all the power of a supernova every hour.

Vandos was ruled by a ministry, headed by a prime minister, with various ministers over several different fields.

The Potemkin traveled to Vandos to make secondary contact with the Vandosian people and learn about their great technological advancements. There they found the Olympian Ozymandias living and working as the Vandosian Science Minister.
