The U.S.S. Navarre was a Norway-class Starfleet vessel. In 2381, the U.S.S. Potemkin was heavily damaged and scheduled for decommissioning after a disastrous battle with the Qualitarians. About half of her crew was assigned to the Navarre while a new, permanent assignment was sought for them.

The Navarre was lost in combat with the Romulans in the Sol system, apparently taking Commander Prax Jarvin, the ship's XO, with it. Prax was later restored to life thanks to the entity known as Q. The surviving crewmembers were picked up by the starship Churchill and taken to Starbase 22.
