Attached to the Warp Core in Main Engineering is the Matter/Antimatter Injection System. It handles the preburning and injection of deuterium and anti-deuterium into the Dilithium Crystal Chamber (also referred to as the Matter/Antimatter Reaction Chamber -- M/ARC).
