More commonly referred to as the Shuttlebay or the Hangar Bay, the Main Auxiliary Vessel Bay is a two-deck structure that spans a large part of deck 8. It is home to the Potemkin's shuttlecraft, shuttlepods, workbees and work pods. There is direct turbolift access to the Hangar Bay on the port side. An "island" at the saucer's center hides the warp core alcove, the ship's central staircase, and various other core umbilicals.
