The Potemkin's crew, while dedicated and hard-working, does occasionally deal with stressful or otherwise emotionally difficult situations. To help them deal with whatever may affect them emotionally, the ship's crew includes a Ship's Counselor whose primary responsibility is the crew's emotional and psychological health.

The Counselor's Office is located in the aft section of deck 4, down the corridor from the Therapy Wards.
