Transporter Room 1, located on deck 2, is the primary transporter room utilized by away teams organized on or led by officers from the main bridge. Because of its close proximity to the main bridge, crewmembers can rapidly travel to this transporter room from the bridge via the ramp up to deck 1.

The transporter room contains several large equipment and weapons lockers stocked for use by away teams.
