Member of the eponymous family that ran the Pollard Mining Facility. She preferred to be called "Charlie" rather than the more formal Charlotte. She had years of experience of being down in the mine shafts.

In 2384, Charlie led an away team from the Potemkin on a tour of the facility to complete an annual inspection required by Starfleet. After some faulty equipment sent power spikes through the mine and caused significant cave ins, Charlie was stranded with Melina in one of the shafts. She was able to locate torches and laser drills to help dig their way out.

Eventually the two found the rest of the away team and were themselves rescued by a party of miners from the surface led by Johann Schmitt.
