Ferengi DaiMon who first appeared in "Danegeld." For some time he had been extorting livestock, crops, and money from the inhabitants of Maldron III. All this he did under the guise of "Commander Rardak" of "The Rihannsu Empire." To make the illusion convincing, his ship was equipped with holo-emitters to make it look like a Romulan Warbird. After accidentally stumbling across this scam, the Potemkin put a stop to his marauding by taking out Nor's lieutenants and confiscating his ship's holo-emitters.

Nor later joined forces with Rin during the Wotal civil war, and faced off once again the crew (then piloting the outdated Potemkin-A). He fired on the temporary shields keeping Rin's forces out of the First City, thus allowing the traitorous captain entrance and the foothold to conquer the world.

Nor remained in orbit of Wotal Prime and was trying to harass any refugees vessels trying to escape the planet. He ordered the 'Tem-A, which had swooped in to protect the refugees, to leave at once or be fired upon. A firefight soon broke out, but Nor left the scene as soon as the Potemkin was crippled.

The Ferengi would return later to haunt the 'Tem when it was rendered incapacitated over the Arlax star. Nor claimed the Potemkin as his prize, but quickly had the tables turned on him, yet again, by Warp and the crew.
